The
Community Resource Centre (CRC) was established
in 1987 as a project of Women Initiating Responsible
Change, a non-profit corporation. It was funded
initially by a small Community & Neighborhood
Support Services Program (CNSSP) grant from
the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social
Services. The CRC was incorporated as a non-profit
corporation in September 1991.
The affairs of CRC are administered by a Board
of Directors (11 seats) elected annually by
the membership. Many of our directors are
single parents who have school age and younger
children. |
