Renfrew County Information Network
The information project develops and maintains a comprehensive directory of human and social services and provides this information in a variety of formats: “Renfrew County Connections: Guide to Human Services” is available in print and on-line at www.renfrewcountyconnections.cioc.ca. Other information products include a Renfrew County Children’s Services Guide and a Seniors Services Guide. Twice yearly we also produce the “Parent Support Zone” a calendar of events and programs for children and families. At the CRC we have a long history of serving as an information and referral centre for our community, providing in-person assistance to citizens looking for help, through walk-in or telephone services. To this end we also offer a toll-free number: 1-888-757-3108. We participate in an Eastern Ontario Information and Referral Partnership.
Buried Treasure Secondhand Clothing
Volunteers manage and deliver the Buried Treasure Secondhand Clothing outlet, which provides access to affordable clothing, and gives clothing another chance. This program provides support to other CRC programs, for instance collecting baby clothes or maternity clothes, snowsuit exchange, etc.
