The Community Resource Centre operates three licensed daycare facilities under the Kidz Kastle banner. We are located at Killaloe Public School, St. John Bosco School in Barry’s Bay and in the South Algonquin Community Hub in Whitney. Quality programming is provided year-round by registered early childhood educators.
We provide care for children ages 1 year and up with a rich learning environment, child-led play, circle time, crafts, nutritious snacks and lunches, quiet time and year-round outdoor play. Kidz Kastle also offers Before and After School programming for school-aged children. The children participate in a variety of supervised fun activities including crafts, outdoor play, reading and homework time. The licenced Before & After School Program provides a bowl of fruit for the children in the morning to access if they wish and a healthy snack in the afternoon. On PA days, the children provide their own lunch.
Kidz Kastle team members are certified in Early Childhood Education (RECE) and are dedicated to providing quality, responsive and innovative programs to children. It is assessed yearly by 2 staff from the County of Renfrew on Quality Assurance.
Fee subsidy and special needs integration services are available to families who qualify.
